Delivery & Installation Guide
Creating an outdoor wellness sanctuary is an exciting step, and thoughtful preparation helps ensure that the delivery and installation process is smooth from beginning to end.
This guide explains what to expect when ordering a sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, or other outdoor wellness equipment from Eira Sanctuaries, along with a few simple steps that will help everything go seamlessly.
1. Order Confirmation & Preparation
Once your order is placed, our team begins coordinating with the manufacturer and freight carrier to prepare your shipment.
During this stage:
• Your order is confirmed with the manufacturer
• Production or warehouse preparation begins
• Freight delivery arrangements are scheduled
Some products ship quickly from existing inventory, while others may require a short production window depending on the model and customization.
If any clarification is needed regarding your installation space or product selection, our team may reach out to ensure everything is properly aligned before shipping.
2. Scheduling Your Delivery
Large wellness equipment is delivered via freight carrier rather than standard parcel services.
Before delivery, the carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment that works with your availability.
This ensures that:
• someone is present to receive the shipment
• the delivery timing works with your schedule
• the process remains smooth and predictable
3. What to Expect on Delivery Day
Most large outdoor wellness products arrive securely packaged on a pallet or in a crate.
Standard freight delivery typically includes curbside or driveway delivery, meaning the shipment will be delivered to the nearest accessible location at your property.
At the time of delivery:
• inspect all packaging before signing the delivery receipt
• note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork
• photograph any concerns for documentation
Moving the product from the delivery location to its final installation site is typically the responsibility of the customer.
Depending on the product size and layout of your property, additional assistance or equipment may be helpful.
4. Preparing the Installation Area
Before delivery arrives, it is helpful to ensure the installation area is ready.
Most outdoor wellness products require:
• a level, stable base
• adequate structural support
• safe access for moving the product into position
Common base options include:
• concrete pads
• paver foundations
• reinforced decks
• gravel bases designed for drainage
The ideal base will depend on the product type and the environment where it will be installed.
If you are unsure about your base preparation, our team is happy to provide guidance.
5. Electrical Installation
Many outdoor saunas and hot tubs require a dedicated electrical connection.
Electrical installation must always be completed by a licensed electrician according to the specifications provided with your product.
Before scheduling electrical work, it is helpful to confirm:
• heater location
• wiring route
• breaker size and amperage requirements
Electrical installation is not included with product purchases and is arranged separately by the customer.
6. Assembly & Setup
Some products arrive fully assembled, while others are designed for straightforward on-site assembly.
Most outdoor saunas are engineered with panel or modular construction, allowing them to be assembled efficiently with basic tools.
Typical assembly involves:
• positioning wall panels
• securing roof sections
• installing interior benches and heaters
Many customers complete assembly themselves, while others prefer to work with a local contractor or installer.
7. First Use
Once your sauna, cold plunge, or hot tub is installed, a few simple steps will prepare it for its first use.
For saunas, this typically includes:
• verifying electrical connections
• allowing the heater to run through its initial heat cycle
• confirming ventilation and airflow
Cold plunges and hot tubs may require:
• filling the unit with water
• verifying filtration or drainage systems
• adjusting temperature settings
Once these steps are complete, your space is ready to begin the ritual.
